Quick video preview and first impressions on the newly released Canon EOS 7D.
I will be releasing a more comprehensive 7D video review where I also compare it to the 5D MkII, but I have had so many people ask me questions about 7D that I thought I would create a very quick video preview.
Please accept my apologies on the sound, the non-consistent audio levels are the result of the Auto-Gain feature of the 7D (as well as the 5D2). I truly wish Canon would allow us to to set manual audio gain levels.
Video was shot with a Canon EOS 7D & Canon EF 17-40 f/4L lens.

I recently had the opportunity to film with my good friend Art Howard, the making of a LensCoat for this rarest of lenses.
Art and I got to spend a day with Scott Elowitz, owner of LensCoat.com and his crew while they manufactured, by hand, a few LensCoats for this very unique lens. We were on [...]
