Quick video preview and first impressions on the newly released Canon EOS 7D.
I will be releasing a more comprehensive 7D video review where I also compare it to the 5D MkII, but I have had so many people ask me questions about 7D that I thought I would create a very quick video preview.
Please accept my apologies on the sound, the non-consistent audio levels are the result of the Auto-Gain feature of the 7D (as well as the 5D2). I truly wish Canon would allow us to to set manual audio gain levels.
Video was shot with a Canon EOS 7D & Canon EF 17-40 f/4L lens.

It’s been said that the best camera to have is the one you have with you. I would like to modify that adage to say:
The best photo equipment to have is the one you have with you. This is specially true when hiking or doing any other activity that requires careful selection of equipment when weight a bulk is the prime consideration. This this end, I have a secret weapon that I would like to share with you.
